Problem
You're having a problem with your scanner: it won't turn on, won't scan, or is no longer recognised by the tablet.
Verification steps
1. Unplug and reconnect the scanner
- The scanner is generally powered via a USB socket.
- Unplug it then plug it back in to force a restart
- Wait a few seconds, then try reading a barcode again
2. Check Bluetooth on the tablet
- Open the tablet settings
- Make sure Bluetooth is activated
- If this is not the case, activate it
- Then try reconnecting the scanner
If the scanner is still not detected, it may need to be reconfigured.
3. Reconfiguring the scanner
- Make sure you have the installation sheet supplied with the scanner.
- This sheet contains 3 barcodes to be scanned in a precise order
- Scan these codes in the order shown to reset the scanner configuration
