Problem: The RMAX Wi-Fi network does not work or does not provide Internet access
Here are two common cases:
- The RMAX Wi-Fi network does not appear in the list of available networks
- You are connected to RMAX Wi-Fi, but you do not have an Internet connection
Verification steps
1. Wi-Fi RMAX does not appear
Check the following points:
- Is the router switched on?
- The power button on the back must be activated
- Is the power cable connected correctly?
- On the front of the router, 5 lights should be green
2. Connected to RMAX Wi-Fi but no Internet
If the power supply seems to be OK, but the network LED (the rightmost one) is not green, follow these steps:
- Check that the original Wi-Fi network (the provider's box) does indeed provide Internet
- Try accessing a site like YouTube from a device connected to this box
- Make sure that the WAN port on the RMAX router is connected to the Internet box by cable.
- If the network is working :
- Restart the RMAX router
- If that's not enough :
- Restart the provider's Internet box
- If the problem persists :
- Contact your Internet provider
