My Wi-Fi RMAX is not working

Problem: The RMAX Wi-Fi network does not work or does not provide Internet access

Here are two common cases:

  • The RMAX Wi-Fi network does not appear in the list of available networks
  • You are connected to RMAX Wi-Fi, but you do not have an Internet connection


Verification steps


1. Wi-Fi RMAX does not appear

Check the following points:

  • Is the router switched on?
    • The power button on the back must be activated
  • Is the power cable connected correctly?
  • On the front of the router, 5 lights should be green


2. Connected to RMAX Wi-Fi but no Internet

If the power supply seems to be OK, but the network LED (the rightmost one) is not green, follow these steps:

  1. Check that the original Wi-Fi network (the provider's box) does indeed provide Internet
    • Try accessing a site like YouTube from a device connected to this box
  2. Make sure that the WAN port on the RMAX router is connected to the Internet box by cable.
  3. If the network is working :
    • Restart the RMAX router
  4. If that's not enough :
    • Restart the provider's Internet box
  5. If the problem persists :
    • Contact your Internet provider
