Kiosk orders are not received in the kitchen

Problem : 

Orders placed on the kiosk are not displayed in the kitchen or on the kitchen screen.


Verification steps


1. Is the kiosk connected to the right Wi-Fi network (Restomax)?

The device must be connected to the internal network for commands to be transmitted correctly.

  • Open Settings → Wi-Fi
  • Ensure that the kiosk is connected to a network of the following type: 
    RMAX + 6-digit customer number 
    (example: RMAX123456)


2. Is the Restomax application up to date?

An obsolete version may prevent commands from being transmitted.

  • Open the device update manager (Play Store → Updates)
  • Check whether an update of the Restomax application is available
  • If so, update it immediately on all the kiosks concerned
