Re-cash a receipt
Hello, everyone! Today, we're going to look at how to re-enter a receipt when a customer wants to change their payment method after closing.
Background
It may happen that a customer:
- Paid in cash, but no longer has any cash available
- Would like to change the payment method (e.g. pay by credit card instead)
Steps to re-cash a ticket
- Go to the Cash Drawer option.
- Locate the list of tickets for the current service.
- Select the relevant ticket (e.g. a 24€ ticket paid for in cash).
- On the right, click the Re-collect button.
- Confirm the action when prompted by the system.
- Select the new payment method (e.g. Bancontact or credit card).
Result
The system automatically cancels the initial ticket and:
- Generates a new ticket with the correct payment method.
- Ensures clear traceability for your accounting
