Re-cash a receipt

Hello, everyone! Today, we're going to look at how to re-enter a receipt when a customer wants to change their payment method after closing.


Background

It may happen that a customer:

  • Paid in cash, but no longer has any cash available
  • Would like to change the payment method (e.g. pay by credit card instead)


Steps to re-cash a ticket

  1. Go to the Cash Drawer option.
  2. Locate the list of tickets for the current service.
  3. Select the relevant ticket (e.g. a 24€ ticket paid for in cash).
  4. On the right, click the Re-collect button.
  5. Confirm the action when prompted by the system.
  6. Select the new payment method (e.g. Bancontact or credit card).


Result

The system automatically cancels the initial ticket and:

  • Generates a new ticket with the correct payment method.
  • Ensures clear traceability for your accounting
