Back up your cash register from the app

Hello, everyone!

Today, we will see how to back up your cash register directly from the application, locally and/or on FTP servers.


Steps to start a backup

  1. Go to Settings → then to the Licence tab.
  2. At the bottom right, click the BackupDB + Supplyout FTP button.
  3. A window will open with two options:
    • ✅ Local backup: creates a backup file stored on your device.
    • ✅ FTP backup: sends a copy of the file to the servers (recommended).

🎯 Tip: Enable both options for double security.


Where can you find your backup?

  • Open the file manager on your device.
  • Go to the Downloads folder.
  • You will find:
    • A file with the extension .db (e.g. backup_cashboxname.db)
    • Or a backup folder containing several backups if you have already generated them.


Why perform both types of backup?

  • Local → fast and accessible directly on the device.
  • FTP → protection in the event of loss, breakdown or theft of the cash register.


Best practices

  • Make regular backups (e.g. at the end of the day or before a major update).
  • Check that the .db file is present in your downloads.
  • In case of doubt or technical issues, the support team can recover the server backup.
