Make a cash deposit or withdrawal

Would you like to replenish your cash drawer or, conversely, make a cash withdrawal to keep it safe?

We will explain step by step how you can easily do this!

Make a cash deposit and withdrawal from the cash register

Hello, everyone!

Today, we will look at how to enter or withdraw cash from your cash register system, so you can easily manage cash flow without impacting your turnover.


Why use these functions?

  • Refill your drawer with change.
  • Withdrawing money for a supplier payment, for example.
  • Maintain clear traceability of cash flows in your reports.


Steps for a cash inflow

  1. In the work area, click Other action (bottom right).
  2. Select Cash In.
  3. Enter the amount (ex. : 50 €).
  4. (Optional) Add a note to explain the transfer (e.g., ‘currency’).
  5. Click on Validate.
📈 Result :
  • The amount appears as a cash inflow on the financial X.
  • No impact on turnover.


Steps for a cash withdrawal

  1. Still in Other actions, click on Cash out.
  2. Enter the amount to be withdrawn (e.g. 50€).
  3. Add an explanatory note (e.g., ‘supplier’).
  4. Validate.
📉 Result :
  • The amount is withdrawn from the cash register.
  • Displayed as Cash Out in your cash reports.


Control user rights

You can allow or deny access to these features:

  1. Go to Settings → User.
  2. Select the user you want to edit.
  3. In Rights (Cash Management section):
    • Enable or disable:
      • ✅ Allow cash register entry
      • ✅ Allow checkout
  4. Click Save.

⚠️ If permissions are disabled:

The user will no longer see the Cash in or Cash out options in Other actions.
