Today, we're going to find out what a matrix is in your cash register and how it can help you save time every day.


Definition

A sales matrix is a visual tool that allows you to group your items into buttons to make it easier to scan them at the checkout.


Why use a matrix?

  • Increase speed when placing orders
  • Reduce selection errors
  • Better organise your articles by category:
    • Examples: Appetisers, Soft drinks, Starters, Main courses, Desserts, Hot drinks
  • Configure each button according to your needs:
    • Size
    • Color
    • Proposals (e.g. choice of cooking method, extras, free options, etc.)


How do I create and edit a matrix?

You can configure your matrices:

  • From the cash register:
    • Go to Settings → Matrix
    • Create new sections, set size and colours
  • From the web back office:
    • Ideal for more comprehensive and large-scale modifications
