Different types of RESTOMAX loyalty

This article is dedicated solely to the different types of loyalty developed internally at RESTOMAX.

RESTOMAX loyalty is available across the entire ecosystem.


🔐 How do I log in to enjoy my RESTOMAX loyalty benefits?

Customer identification is essential for customers to enjoy their loyalty benefits. Here is how it works on different platforms:

At the cash register
  • The customer can be selected manually via the customer search in the POS.
  • It can also be identified automatically using an NFC badge or barcode reader.
On Smarkiok
  • On the Smarkiok, it is mandatory to use an NFC reader and/or a barcode reader to enable customer identification.
  • The customer must confirm their identity by scanning their badge a second time at the end of the order.
  • Without equipment, fidelity cannot be achieved.
With Click&Collect
  • The customer logs in with their email address and password.
  • Once logged in, they automatically access their available loyalty vouchers.


Prerequisites

Before attempting to use loyalty, ensure that:

  • Activate and configure the system item ‘Fidelity Voucher’ in your master cash register journal.
  • Configure the following options as required:

✅ Number of days valid (empty field = infinite)

✅ Auto-generated barcode prefix (e.g. 555)

✅ Item ID (informative only)

✅ VAT rate (0% or 21%)

  • Choice of type of RESTOMAX loyalty on the entity: 
    📌 As a percentage 
    📌 In points 
    📌 In points with threshold
  • Configure each item by assigning it a percentage or number of points.

        

  • Manage eligible customers via their file:
    • By default, all customers are eligible.
    • The ‘counter’ customer is not eligible for loyalty rewards.


How RESTOMAX Loyalty works


Creation of vouchers

A loyalty voucher is automatically created when a sales document is closed, provided that all the conditions mentioned above are met.

By default, loyalty vouchers are not printed and are only available in the online wallet. They will be activated automatically on the day after they are created.


Configuration Options

  •  🔲 Use with paper ticket only

(if enabled, no printout; otherwise, automatic or manual printing possible)

  • 🖨️ Manual printing of vouchers

(configurable in the POS > ‘Ticket Printer’ tab)

  • ❌ Exclusion of discounted items from loyalty calculations

(option can be activated in the shop)


Use of vouchers

When an eligible customer has an active voucher, a specific button appears on the sales screen to use the loyalty programme.

🔍 When using a loyalty voucher from the payment screen, a dedicated line is automatically added to the receipt, applying the VAT code configured on the system item.


Voucher history

🔍 You can also view the history via the ‘Voucher History’ button in the customer file.

 

Types of RESTOMAX Loyalty


Percentage (%)

The rate defined in the item master record is applied to the total of each line.

Example:

  • Item from the SOFT family with 4% loyalty
  • Prce : 3,50€
  • Purchase: 3 items from the SOFT family

Calculation: (4% of 3.50€) x 3 = 0.42€ in loyalty generated

📌Loyalty depends on the price of the item.


In Points

The points are defined in the article record and then multiplied by the quantity and a conversion factor.

Example :

  • Item from the SOFT family with 5 points
  • Conversion factor: 0.01 points/€
  • Purchase: 3 items from the SOFT family

Calculation: 5 x 0.01 x 3 = 0.15€ in loyalty generated

📌 Loyalty does not depend on the price of the item.


Points with threshold

Points accumulate until they reach a threshold to generate a voucher.

Example :

  • Item from the SOFT family with 5 points
  • Generation of a voucher worth £5.00
  • Target to be achieved: 100 points
  • Conversion factor: 0.05 points/€
  • Purchase: 3 items from the SOFT family

Accumulation: 5 x 3 = 15 points

Rule: At 100 points → 5€ voucher (100 x 0.05)

📌 Therefore, you must sell 20 items from the SOFT family to reach the threshold and generate this voucher.

Price is not a factor here.
