Add a suggestion to an article in the checkout
Hello, everyone!
Today, we will learn how to link a proposal to an item in the cash register so that a choice is automatically displayed during the sale.
Objective
Configure the item Still water glass so that when it is selected, a window opens with the option:
With or without ice cubes
Steps to follow
- Access the item details
Go to Settings → Items
→ Search for Still water glass
→ Click on it to open its configuration details - Open the proposal options
On the right, click on the Proposal field
→ A block appears with the Add button - Link an existing suggestion
Click on Add
→ Select the desired suggestion (e.g. Ice cube)
→ Click on Save
Result
Now, when selling still water in a glass, a window will appear asking you to choose with or without ice cubes before adding the item to the ticket.
Tip
The proposals are ideal for:
- Suggest sauces, cooking methods or side dishes
- Add paid extras (e.g. whipped cream, toppings)
- Customise dishes without forgetting options
