Selection of cutlery per table


When configuring your seating plan, you specify the number of place settings/guests expected for each table by default.

The ‘Configure cutlery selection’ option presented in this tutorial allows you to manually force the number when selecting the table, regardless of the initial configuration.

Hello, everyone!

Today, we will see how to configure and use the cutlery option in your seating plan.


Cash register — Use

When the option is enabled:

  • On the floor plan, as soon as you click on a table
  • A page will open allowing you to select the number of place settings.

👉 Example: I choose table 7 → I select 4 place settings.

➡️ At the top right of the screen, Table 7 – 4 place settings is displayed.


Why use this option?

  • Better organise service by indicating the number of place settings per table.
  • Get detailed statistics on:
    • The average basket per guest
    • The margin per cover
    • And other key indicators for your establishment.


How to enable this feature in settings

  1. Go to Settings → then to the POS tab.
  2. Scroll down to the Table section.
  3. Enable Request number of place settings → the button should turn green.
  4. Click Save.


✅ That's it! Your cash register is now configured to record the number of place settings each time a table is opened.
