For CASH payments, you can activate rounding in the cash register, which is convenient for avoiding small change and complies with legislation.

From now on, cash payments will be rounded up or down to the nearest ten, depending on the value.

Enable cash rounding management

Today, we will see how to enable and use rounding management on your POS system.

Enable rounding management

1. Go to Settings → Entity.
2. Look for the Round Management option.
3. Turn it on.
4. Click Save.

✅ Rounding is now active.

How does rounding work?

Rounding applies only to cash payments.

Sales example

• I am selling an item 2,48 €.
• The ticket displays correctly 2,48 €.
• When paying in cash, the amount is automatically rounded up to 2,50 €.

📌 On the ticket:

• Total amount : 2,48 €
• Cash payment : 2,50 €
• Applied rounding : +0,02 €

👉 No rounding is applied if the customer pays by credit card.

Follow the curves

You can track rounding in your cash reports:

• Access the X or Z report.
• A specific ‘Rounding’ line displays:
  • The number of rounding operations performed
  • The cumulative total (e.g. 2 rounded = 0.04€)

Result

Your cash register automatically rounds up or down when cash payments are made, according to the settings you have defined.
