This short tutorial explains how to delete a sales matrix directly from the cash register!

This option requires edit permissions for the user.

Delete an item button on your cash register

Objective: Remove an item button (e.g. Freshly squeezed orange juice) from the matrix so that it is no longer visible or selectable.

Steps to follow

1. From the checkout, click on Settings (top right).
2. Go to the Matrix menu.
3. Select the matrix where the button to be deleted is located.
4. Find the button to remove (e.g., Freshly squeezed orange juice).
5. Click on the trash can icon 🗑️ next to the button.
6. Click Save (top right) to save the deletion.

Result

• The button is removed from the die.
• It is no longer visible on the sales screen.
• Your teams can no longer clock out by mistake.

💡 Tip:

You can always reactivate the article later by recreating a button, without deleting the article itself from the database.
