Create a sales matrix from the cash register
Hello, everyone!
Today, let's see how to create a matrix from your cash register, for example for hot drinks.
Creation stages
- Access settings
Go to Settings → Matrix.
On the left are the existing templates (Appetiser, Soft, Starter, etc.).
- Create a new matrix
Click on New Matrix (at the top of the screen).
Enter a name (e.g., Hot drinks).
You can translate this name into Dutch and English if necessary (or copy it into all languages using the arrows).
- Define the structure
Select the number of rows and columns (e.g. 5 x 5).
This determines the total number of locations for the buttons (here: 25 locations).
⚠️ The more rows/columns you add, the smaller the buttons will appear.
- Define the order of appearance
The Order field determines the position of the matrix in the list (e.g. 6 = last).
Check the numbers of the other matrices to position yourself correctly (e.g. Aperitif = 1, Soft = 2, etc.).
- Add an icon
In the Icon option, select a representative symbol (e.g., ☕ cup for hot drinks).
The icon will replace the initials visible in the navigation.
- Save
Click Save to confirm the creation of your matrix.
Result
Your new matrix is now:
- Active
- Visible in your list
- Equipped with its own icon
- Ready to accommodate buttons for your articles
