Create a proposal in Fixed Default Quantity mode

Hello, everyone! Today, I'll show you how to create a proposal in Fixed Default Quantity mode on your cash register, which is ideal for products with fixed subcomponents.

Example: Tricolour ice cream

Let's imagine that you are an ice cream maker and you sell a tricolour ice cream (chocolate, strawberry, vanilla).

With this mode, when you select the item, all three flavours are automatically included — the customer does not choose.

Configuration steps

  1. Access settings
    • Go to Settings → Suggestions
    • Click on Add proposal (top right)
  2. Name the proposal
    • E.g.: Tricolore Ice Cream Perfume
    • Use the arrows to copy the name in Dutch/English if necessary.
  3. Select the type of proposal
    • By default, it is set to Single Select.
    • Switch to Fixed Default Quantity
➤ The Minimum Item and Maximum Item fields will disappear.
  4. Add items
    • Click on Articles → Add
    • Select flavours: chocolate, strawberry, vanilla
    • Define the quantities (e.g. 1 ball each)
    • Save
  5. Link the proposal to the main article
    • Go to Articles
    • Select the main item (e.g. Tricolour Ice Cream)
    • Click on Proposal → Add
    • Select Tricolore Ice Cream Flavour
    • Save

Result

On sale, as soon as you select Tricolour Ice Cream:

  • The three fragrances have already been selected.
  • No manual selection or changes possible
  • The sale is quick and smooth.
