Configure the output of your mass printers

Do you want to be able to link printers to a large number of items? Then this is the tool for you!

Select your items from the back office and link or unlink your items directly, saving time instead of configuring your items one by one.

You also have the option of activating sending to Kitchen Display (KDS) and/or requesting the generation of a specific ticket for the items.

Configure the printouts of your mass-produced items

Hello everyone!

Today we're going to look at how to quickly link several items to their preparation printers using a dedicated tool in the back office.


Configuration steps

  1. Log in to the web backoffice.
  2. Go to Settings → click on Tools.
  3. Open the Items to printers tool.


Search for items to be configured

  • Use the search bar to filter by :
    • Name
    • Reference
    • Hierarchy (e.g. Pizzas, Dishes)
    • Category
  • Example: search for the Pizza hierarchy, then click Search.


Select printer output

  • At the top right, select a print output (e.g. Kitchen).
  • Make sure that this printer has already been configured in your system.


Link items to the printer

  1. Tick the items one by one or use the global selection box.
  2. Click on Link → all items will be linked to the selected output.


Untie items

  • Same principle: select the items concerned, then click Unlink.


Additional options

  • Kitchen Max: tick this box to make the item appear on the kitchen screen as a tile.
  • Generate a ticket :
    • Activate this option to print a separate preparation slip for each item (useful for individual consignments).


Results

You save time by configuring your items in batches, while ensuring optimum printing in the kitchen or bar, depending on your needs.
